How do local economies best flourish? Under what social conditions are healthy economic decisions made? These are the research questions I pursue, through my Master’s thesis on post-industrial revitalization strategies, a digital BIA-esque experiment called WeAreYVR, business development practices, and community engagement theory.
My long term goal for Vancouver is to help move the city towards a more integrated and socially cohesive future. By measuring economies and building community, I hope to improve the quality of life for people in business and government. Currently building a marketing agency, reading about the end of democracy and the rise of tech monopolies, and enjoying my time here on the west coast.
